Eight years of Fast Track success at your fingertips
The professional Fast Track Yachtmaster Offshore sailing course is the longest established of all our intensive training programmes. The first course was run in 2002, so when you book this course with Allabroad, you can be assured that you will benefit from over eight years of Fast Track experience.
Designed for you
The Allabroad range of courses is designed with the student in mind. We focus on the skills necessary to begin a career in the yachting industry, or to prepare you for extended cruising on private yachts. To ensure impartiality, your final examination is certified by an independent examiner.
If I were to summarise I would have to say that the experience far outstripped my expectations…the academy was well run, the instructors are second to none, everyone in their own way patient, friendly and very knowledgeable…a great experience and some great memories…and I am already working in the industry having just left the academy, cannot say any fairer than that!
Team work
Throughout the course you will sail and handle different sized boats from our fleet of 36 foot to 44 foot yachts. Within the Fast Track group you will sail as a member of a regularly rotated team, so that you can develop interpersonal skills, and learn to adapt to different group styles. For those interested in professional skippering and teaching, we can provide you with opportunities to join clients that are completing shorter courses, thus helping you to develop customer care skills.
We adapt to you
The Fast Track course itinerary is a malleable framework, which may be adapted to more closely suit your individual training needs. One-to-one tuition is offered wherever we think it necessary; we understand that what is easy for some is difficult for others. The layered training prepares you for your final MCA RYA Yachtmaster exam and we aim for you to obtain an excellent standard of pass.
Trevor is a real teacher and a mentor. His ethic, knowledge, passion, is unparalleled. He has elevated my sailing to another level, but has also taught me some things about what it takes to be a complete skipper.
At Allabroad we deliver all of our courses to a high standard, and our Fast Track courses are no exception. If you’ve previously done a Day Skipper Practical course, you will still find the Allabroad Fast Track courses to be challenging, since we aim for excellence at every stage.
