Now you want something more. You want to get behind the wheel of a yacht, and for your crew to confidently address you as Skipper.

The Day Skipper Practical will help you achieve your goals. By the end of the course, you will have sufficient knowledge to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day. You may apply for an ICC once you’ve achieved this certificate.
Fast Track RYA Day Skipper Theory & Practical (Motor)
This course starts on a Saturday morning and includes four days of theory and five days of practical. This RYA approved course format awards both the RYA Day Skipper Theory and Day Skipper Practical (Power) certificates. Saturday, Sunday and Monday are spent studying the theory, after which you take to the water for five days of practical cruising. On the final day, the Sunday, you consolidate your theory understanding before taking a final assessment.
