practical is a 5 day course with 6 nights aboard.

This is normal RYA 5 day Coastal skipper practical
course which results in the Coastal Skipper course completion
certificate.
RYA Yachtmaster Coastal.
For information on exam fees for the RYA Yachtmaster Coastal commercial

This course includes 4 days prep and the use of the yacht for
the exam on the fifth day.
Price £ 595.00 plus exam fees.
Two week preparation course £1130.00
If
you do not have the Coastal Skipper theory certificate and your
theory is at Day Skipper level you can do a combination 2 week
theory and practical 13 nights aboard and 10 days sailing to
obtain the practical certificate or take out Coastal Skipper on
line theory course.

About the course.
The
course covers all aspects of sailing including reefing, man
overboard, sailing alongside, sailing onto moorings, passage
making, collision regulations, knots and much more as well as
skippering skills and yacht management.
Students are encouraged to take charge of the
yacht, crew and the complete running of the boat during this
course.

Pre-course requirements.
For
the Coastal Skipper practical course you need to have
completed 300 sea miles, have practical skills to
Day Skipper level and theory knowledge is required to
Coastal Skipper level.
If
your theory knowledge is not to the required standard then consider our
online home learning package (see theory courses),
alternatively we offer a 10 day combination theory and
practical course on board (learn while you sail) or the
joint one week residential theory course followed by the
practical course.
Certification.
RYA
Coastal Skipper practical completion certificate.
The combination theory and practical course on board is
for the practical certificate only.
Sailing area.
During the Coastal Skipper
practical course we usually visit Morocco and Spain as
well as our home port of Gibraltar.
Mediterranean climate and still tidal. Gibraltar is ideal
for sail cruising.
Allabroad has a record for first class tuition and has a
pass rate second to none in Gibraltar.
Our infrastructure includes two on site classrooms at
Marina Bay Gibraltar, offices and fastrack rest rooms
with internet access.
We are the selected training centre for all the
Gibraltar port workers and are the only training centre
with on site facilities.
