Other equipment includes 12cd Auto-changer with outdoor speakers, Chart Plotter, radar, MARPA, GPS Microwave, and most important, a massive fridge. Learning should be fun and enjoyable and that's exactly what this boat was made for.

Yachtmaster Offshore.

Pre course requirements are day skipper and coastal skipper level theory and practical skills.

If you need to take a theory course we can offer classroom, online and combination courses. See the all theory courses link on the left.
Theory courses are the same for sail and motor.

A much more in-depth study of navigation and seamanship is required for this course and students must be at least at coastal level.

For information on required pre course miles and experience contact Allabroad.

Miles required are 2500 sea miles with half of them tidal. 50% of the miles can have be completed on sailing yachts.
Five passages over 60 miles, 2 as skipper and 2 overnight.

If you already have over 1000 miles on power boats then the cost to convert would reduce to

To be a yacht skipper requires more than just sailing skills.
A yacht should be happy and pleasant experience for everyone on board.
The captain Bligh days are long gone.

A good skipper will never shout at the crew.
If everything is explained properly by the skipper beforehand then everyone will know what to do and everything will run smoothly.
