Launch Your Superyacht Career
At Allabroad Sailing Academy, we don’t just offer world-class training—we prepare you for a successful, long-term career in the superyacht industry. Here we answer some of your most frequently asked questions relating to why Allabroad is the best place to start your journey and hear from trainees who have recently completed their courses.
Allabroad isn’t just another sailing school. We specialize in superyacht crew training, and our results speak for themselves. Over the years, we’ve helped hundreds of crew members launch their careers, and many of our graduates are now working on prestigious vessels around the world. We know exactly what captains and recruitment agencies are looking for—and we tailor our training to meet those expectations.
One of the things that sets us apart is our team of expert instructors, many of whom have worked extensively in the yachting industry. They bring real-world experience, insider knowledge, and invaluable insights to every course. You’re not just learning from textbooks—you’re learning from professionals who’ve walked the walk and can offer you career guidance, tips, and tricks that only come with hands-on experience.
People fly in from all over the world to do superyacht crew training at Allabroad—and it’s easy to see why. Located in sunny Gibraltar, our academy offers expert instruction, modern facilities, and a year-round warm climate that allows for uninterrupted, hands-on training. With over 300 days of sunshine each year, you’ll qualify faster and gain more time on the water, no matter the season.
Beyond the training itself, you’ll join a group of like-minded, motivated individuals who are all on the same path into the superyacht industry. Many of our trainees form close bonds during their time here—learning together, living on board, and supporting each other as they develop new skills. It’s not unusual for friendships made here to last well beyond the course.
As part of your sailing experience, you’ll explore the stunning coastlines and marinas of southern Spain and Spanish-Morocco. On rest days and evenings, there’s the chance to unwind—relax at the beach, explore the rock, or simply enjoy some downtime with your fellow crew members. It’s a rewarding mix of structured training and lifestyle balance that makes your time at Allabroad both professionally valuable and genuinely enjoyable.
We understand that one of the biggest concerns for new crew is how to land that first job in the superyacht industry. At Allabroad, we don’t just train you—we support you in making that critical next step. During your course, we offer practical CV guidance, help you tailor your résumé to meet industry expectations, and introduce you to specialist yacht crew recruitment agencies.
Our experienced team shares a wealth of insider advice, from how to present yourself professionally to when and where to be to maximise your chances of getting hired. Whether it’s knowing which marinas are busiest during the season or how to network effectively while dockwalking, we equip you with the tools and confidence to step off the course and straight into your first deckhand or steward(ess) position.
Our most comprehensive training option, the Gold Package, is ideal for those looking to enter the superyacht industry fully prepared. Priced at £3,900, it includes:

Testimonial
The 4 weeks went so quickly because all the learning was so fun and engaging. I feel very confident in my understanding of boating careers and following the course know what to expect in the future; all the instructors were very knowledgeable! I loved living on a boat with loads of people who I’d not have met ordinarily and I made some friends for life who made the more intense elements of the course easier. Gibraltar is a great city with plenty of things to do off the boat too.
