For those who’s next step is building miles or embedding/refreshing skills and theory knowledge, a Mile & Skills Builder week is perfect. We offer these weeks for candidates who are qualified Day Skippers or who have not yet completed their Yachtmaster Coastal Theory. You’ll join a crew of similar level candidates and sail away for 5-days of skills and mile-building:

• Log approximately 125 miles (non-tidal)
• Practice skippering skills
• Refresh theory and sailing knowledge

Route to Yachtmaster 8-weeks 

If you’re looking to build tidal miles with the aim of achieving Yachtmaster Coastal or Offshore, then our 8-week Route to Yachtmaster course is an option.

• Log 800-1000 nautical miles including at least 50% tidal
• Achieve 4x 60nm passages
• Achieve night hours
• Practice skippering skills
• Day Skipper and Coastal Yachtmaster theory/refresher
• Sailing knowledge & experience

Start from no experience and aim for Yachtmaster Coastal or start with experience and miles and aim for Yachtmaster Offshore.
