- AEC1 Approved Engine Course from Allabroad is now more popular than ever, we now run this course every month from our base Ocean Village Marina Gibraltar.
- During your course you learn about the intricacies of the marine diesel engine, literally inside out, by stripping down the test engines in our marina side workshop. You will learn in great detail how each component and subsystem of the diesel engine works.
- In addition to the classroom training engines, you will also practice identifying components and testing your new skills ‘in field’ on 2 high power working marine engines. Learn on fully working engines in active commercial use on board our training motor cruiser.
- The AEC1 course is internationally recognised and accredited by the UK MCA (Maritime & Coastguard agency).
- This course is a great addition to the Yachtmaster qualification for those seeking work in the yachting or wider maritime industry, and a mandatory requirement for those wishing to train beyond RYA Yachtmaster to the higher levels.
